Carlo was born with a passion for wildlife, and one of his biggest dreams was always to own a game farm. Sonet grew up in Namibia with wide horizons, savannas and red dunes, which made the veld feel like home from the start.              

So, when a “normal” cattle and timber farm landed in their hands, it didn’t stay normal for long – because apparently cows weren’t quite wild enough.

 

Together with Hugo, Mia, and Zoey – they’ve turned Basangoma into more than just a Game Ranch. It’s a place where friends and family gather, sunsets are non-negotiable, and the only real schedule is set by the animals. You come for the Wildlife, stay for the laughter, and leave with stories you’ll retell for years (probably with a little exaggeration).
